Environmental Concerns in Aviation: Basic Concepts
Your Goal
Learn about current environmental concerns, and more specifically, the strategic and tactical development of aviation sustainability. This course presents aviation's role in an increasingly green world, and its relationship with other sources of environmental problems. It gives an overview of the social, economic and environmental impact of aviation and how to tackle the environmental concerns through technological, operational and regulatory means.
You Are
Working as aviation stakeholders (CAAs, ANSPs, airlines, airports, regulators) or interested in the subject and willing to learn sustainability issues related to aviation.
Your Instructor
Ayce Celikel
Ayce is an Airport and Aviation Environmental Consultant and has been ENVISA’s President since 2007. She participates in numerous international conferences and working groups specialized in aviation and the environment and has a wide knowledge of people’s perception of environmental matters.
